Thanksgiving day yesterday was great. We had a great time together with family we don’t see only a few times a year. My favorite part is always the time we spend together sharing what we are thankful for as we sit around the table before the feast. It is our tradition to go around the table and say what we are thankful for this past year. Often there appears some tears and some emotional response. This year I made it through without tears but others there made up for it.
I have always looked back on my tears as a good thing. Underneath the tears are feelings of joy, appreciation and love of which I don’t always express. It feels good in my body when they come out.
In reflection of this day, the more I practice expressing my feelings the more present joy, appreciation, love is apparent in my life. How cool is that?
How did your day go? What are you thankful for?
“Blessings on your journey”
