There are many quotes and ideas related to loss and change, this one appeared to me today. I like it because it speaks of us as artists creating new patterns and textures in our lives. Everyday and every moment of our lives, there is change occurring within us and around us making each moment new, and one that has never existed before. I have learned in my life, that I have the choice to make each new moment like no other moment that ever existed before, or, I can choose to make it a reflection of my past and what I have come to expect is true. One appears to look like anything is possible and one looks familiar where everything stays the same. One feels scary and one feels safe.
We can choose how we look at and how we weave the new patterns into our lives. We can choose to wander into the new moment where there exists infinite possibilities. We are the artist, the creator. Giddyup!
