Is it the journey, or the destination, that’s more important?
I would like to think that the destination is the most important, because without it my movement and life’s direction would have little importance or apparent value. I also would like to just get there. I like to achieve and I like to get what I want fast, and, I struggle with setbacks and detours. Being an over-achiever, and a get it now kind of guy does have its issues. I get depressed, frustrated and angry when I can’t get it now, and I loose my interest and desire when I cant get it fast. Gee, writing this makes me feel like a spoiled little boy.
The truth is, I am on a journey, a journey to a destination removed from frustration, depression and anger. All of the events that have happened and will happen are all presented to me so I can learn and grow, so I can become the person and example of who I really am and want to be. So, what’s really more important, the journey or the destination? Giddy-up
”Blessings on your journey”
