There is Christmas music being played on my radio now, and I’m torn. I’m not sure how to feel about it because it surprised me. Here I am just getting used to our first new snow fall, my leaves are not all up, Thanksgiving hasn’t even happened yet, and now, I’ve got Christmas music on the radio. Truth is I often sprinkle in a Christmas tune here and again in my play list (mostly instrumental or spiritual) and I like it. Now I’ve got “Up on the rooftop (Gene Autry, 1953), I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, (Little Jimmy Boyd, 1952), Perry Como, Bing Crosby, Burl Ives and Johnny Mathis”, to contend with.
I find the music pulling on my heart strings, pulling at my memories and emotions, flooding me with years of holiday history, both GOOD and BAD, It happens every year!!
There is Christmas music being played on the radio, and I am torn, still healing, and finding my way on my journey. Best to you on your journey! Giddy-up

I think holiday time is a mix of emotions for lots of people. We are in for the happy times that we experienced as children if we had great memories. And if we didn’t have great memories, it’s a time to relive some painful experiences. Frankly, I am always relieved when the holidays are over. I, for one, had huge family celebrations and now it’s just down to a few. I try to be grateful that I do have others in my life though. Others are not as fortunate during this holiday season.

All we have to do is to allow our personal awakening to love at our own pace. It is all already done. sing along, cry laugh, it is good to connect with our emotions!
