Treadmills are an amazing piece of equipment that you can run or walk on. Regardless of your speed you maintain a forward momentum. The belt provides a soft landing with each foot and the electronic controls allow you to set the speed and elevation that is appropriate for your fitness level.
Now imagine the same treadmill is your life filled with drive, thrust and energy. When one day you lose someone close and the treadmill of life continues but you don’t have the strength, willpower or determination to hang on – you fall! The belt continues to rotate and the treadmill continues to move but you are no longer on the treadmill. The fall causes a few scrapes and bruises that will eventually scab and fall off and someday you will find the strength of mind to get back on the treadmill and re-join life!
